Mim had her first scan today - all seems fine, just one baby and it was moving around quite happily. We were even able to see all the fingers on one hand, and its eyes and the shape of its face. I was amazed by how much detail was visible as the scanner was moved around. The stills are lovely but it was much better live. Mim couldn’t stop grinning for the rest of the day!

Mim and I went up to Edinburgh a few weeks ago to watch the New Zealand vs Scotland world cup game, which was when the All Blacks were still doing well (admittedly against rubbish sides!). We walked up to Arthur’s Seat, looked around Holyrood Palace, and watched the ABs thump Scotland.
