NZ trip 2007 - Andrew & Lydia’s wedding

Andrew and LydiaPart of the reason for our trip back to New Zealand was because my brother, Andrew, was getting married to Lydia. Here are some photos from the wedding day (sadly none featuring Mim, as I was the best man and so she had to take all the photos!).

NZ trip 2007 - Doubtful Sound photos

Doubtful SoundHere’s the second set of photos from our New Zealand trip, this time from Doubtful Sound. We went with the Real Journeys overnight cruise, and it was absolutely stunning - if you ever get the chance to go on this trip you should. The scenery is unbelievable, we saw penguins and dolphins (and would have seen seals if the sea hadn’t been rough outside the sound), went kayaking and swimming in the sound, and had great food on board.

We were very fortunate with the weather as Fiordland is one of the wettest places in the world, but while we were there it was perfect.

NZ trip 2007 - Coromandel photos

Cathedral coveOn Sunday we got back from our trip to New Zealand, and this is the first batch of photos from that trip. We did a quick visit to the Coromandel peninsula, which has some amazing beaches. The beach in most of these photos is appearing in the new Narnia film, “Prince Caspian.”
